Our studio practice blends traditional calligraphic techniques with contemporary design sensibilities. We honor the imperfections that make handmade work truly human, celebrating the subtle variations that distinguish craft from mechanical reproduction.

Tools, Ink, and Ritual

Our tools are simple: nib and holder, brush and ink, paper that accepts the mark without resistance. Yet within this simplicity lies infinite possibility.

We work primarily with pointed pen and brush techniques, using both traditional iron gall inks and contemporary formulations. The studio holds a rotating collection of vintage nibs, Japanese brushes, and handmade papers sourced from artisan mills.
